With more than 27 years of experience across business ownership, leadership, and technology, I have worked at every level of the stack - from hands-on technical delivery to executive leadership and governance. After founding, scaling, and exiting a successful managed services business, I now lead EightWire Consulting as an independent business and technology advisor, bringing real-world experience from both sides of the table, accountable not just for recommendations, but for delivering outcomes.
Originally from the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, I bring a practical, resourceful mindset shaped by the Kiwi "Number 8 wire" philosophy. Today, I am based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I work with local businesses directly and serve clients across North America and beyond. Married to a native Cincinnatian and raising three kids here, Cincinnati is genuinely home. Outside of work and time with family, I enjoy travel, good music, and am a continual reader with a deep curiosity for how businesses, systems, and people work together.
I am a lifelong learner and currently enrolled in Xavier University's Executive MBA program, continuing to deepen my perspective across strategy, finance, leadership, and organizational design. Combined with deep technology experience and extensive certifications, this allows me to bridge business goals with operational reality, helping leaders make decisions that succeed in practice, not just on paper.
My advisory style is calm, structured, and execution-aware. I am often brought in when complexity is high, priorities are unclear, or leaders want an experienced sounding board to help evaluate tradeoffs before committing to a path forward.
I deeply believe that business can and should be a force for good. Across the businesses I have owned, more than $700,000 has been reinvested back into local communities - focused on food rescue and redistribution, school lunch programs, shelters and transitional housing, and food banks. Values-driven businesses, healthy culture, and responsible leadership create meaningful outcomes well beyond financial performance.
